About Me

If this sounds like you then I'd love to hear from you! See the 'counselling' page for ways we can connect.

I came to counselling through my own experiences of questioning and exploring my sexuality and identity. I know firsthand how confusing, overwhelming, and lonely that journey can sometimes feel. Those experiences inspired me to train as a counsellor and to create the kind of supportive space I wish I'd had when I was finding my own way.

Today, I work with people who are exploring their sexuality or identity, navigating change, or simply looking to understand themselves more fully. Whatever brings you here, you'll be met with warmth, acceptance, and respect for your unique experience.

People I can support include those:

  • Struggling with related mental health problems eg. anxiety, depression

  • Exploring or questioning their sexuality

  • Navigating changes in identity

  • Experiencing shame or conflict around sex or intimacy

  • Managing the impact of religious or cultural expectations

  • Facing relationship or intimacy issues

  • Feeling anxious, stuck, or disconnected in this area of their lives

  • Those affected by suicide, grief/bereavement

Starting Therapy

What to expect:

I offer a free 15-minute introductory Zoom call, giving us the opportunity to talk about what has brought you to counselling, what you hope to gain from therapy, and whether we feel like a good fit to work together. There is no obligation to continue after this call.

If you decide you would like to begin counselling, we will arrange a regular weekly appointment at a time that suits us both. My current availability is on Thursdays.

The introductory call is not obligatary to begin therapy but it can help to answer any questions/settle nerves before starting!

Sessions last 60 minutes and are charged at £50 per session.

If you have any questions about the counselling process, I will be happy to answer them during our introductory call. Before our first session, I will also send you a counselling agreement outlining practical information such as confidentiality, cancellations, payment, and what you can expect from working together.
